Cudd is expected to add to his 128 appearances for the region and return to the starting line-up for the European Challenge Cup Pool 1 encounter.
And the 30-year-old believes Dragons must look to make a strong start on home soil against a Romanian side that he knows will be fired up for the clash.
“We won’t be underestimating them,” said Cudd. “When we played them out in Romania they had a good start to the game. We’ve got to be better at the start this time.
“There is huge competition here, especially in the back row, so for me and others it is a chance to try and play well and put your hand up for the next few games going forward.
“We expect a tough start, but hopefully we can wear them down and kick on,” added Cudd, who featured when Dragons defeated Timisoara 54-17 away in October.
“We played to our strengths over in Romania and pulled away in the end. We are looking to repeat that to help us push on the rest of this season.
“We have three homes games on the bounce. It is nice to have that and hopefully we can use it to build some momentum going back into the league.”
