Dragons are looking to add to the performance analysis team by appointing a part-time intern to help support the first team squad.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring Performance Analyst, seeking experience of being involved in an elite sporting environment learning from experts.
The role will help ensure that players are given the opportunity to develop their rugby knowledge and ability, as defined by the Dragons Performance Analysis department and Head of Performance.
Dragons are ideally seeking individuals who have either completed or are pursuing an Undergraduate Sport Science/Sports Coaching degree with modules in Performance Analysis and who can demonstrate their desire to pursue a career in performance analysis.
You will need to be reliable, committed and highly organised with meticulous attention to detail. Advanced PC skills and the ability to use your own initiative to problem solve are also essential as is a good knowledge of rugby union and a valid UK driving licence.
The following experience and skills would be advantageous:
• Experience using Sportscode performance analysis software;
• Experience capturing live sport (wide-angle filming);
• Experience of working within a professional sport environment; and
• Rugby coaching experience.
