The players brought smiles to the faces of the children and their loved ones during their annual visit to the hospital, located a short distance from Rodney Parade.
They spent the afternoon handing out gifts on the children’s wards, as well as posing for pictures and signing autographs alongside mascot Rodney the Dragon.
Our thanks go to partners S4C, Melin Homes, Sainsbury’s and Kip McGrath Education Centre – Newport West – for supporting the visit.
Fly half Josh Lewis said: "We all know how lucky we are at this time of year and so we were really pleased to get the opportunity to visit our local hospital in Newport and meet the youngsters.
"The nurses, doctors and all the staff do amazing work and we very much appreciate the opportunity to come in and meet the young patients."
The Dragons would like to thank all the staff and families at the Royal Gwent Hospital for their warm welcome.
