The match was against Russian opponents Enisei-STM in the European Rugby Challenge Cup and it saw the Region take away a win at home, completing a double over their challengers.
It was Dragons centre Adam Warren who crossed for two tries with Aaron Wainwright sealing their third.
The home team had six players make their debuts in front of a home audience, in the Challenge Cup competition, with scrum-half Dan Babos being named Henieken Man of the Match, for his fantastic display of skill.
It was the visiors who controlled the early stages of the match and they had their chance to add the first three points to the scoreboard, only for fly-half Yury Kushnarev to miss the penalty. The Dragons finally earned their chance with around 20 minutes on the clock as Adam Warren crossed for his first try of the evening, however Angus O’Brien failed to convert. The visitors attempted to fight back but their attempt at a try saw the ball held up, seeing the first half end on 5-0.

The Dragons began the second half better than they did the first and after 10 minutes the game opened up, with Angus O’Brien making the most of an open channel to see young flanker Aaron Wainwright collect and dive over for his first try in Dragons colours.
The third try came for the Dragons on 60 minutes as Warren sprinted to collect and dot down another kick from O’Brien, the conversion went wide of the posts and despite a late surge from the visitors the Dragons secured a win of 15-0.
