A product of the Dragons Academy, Alex Jeffries made his first Dragons U16s start in 2010 against Scarlets U16s. The Newport born prop moved into the Dragons U18s set-up whilst also making 70 appearances for Principality Premiership side Newport RFC. Recently the youngster made appearances for the Newport Gwent Dragons Premiership Select in the British and Irish Cup.
Boris Stankovich moved to the Men of Gwent in the 2014/15 season. The 35-year-old has made 37 appearances for the Welsh Region, in two seasons at Rodney Parade. The hard hitting player has been a huge asset for the Welsh Region helping to bring along youngsters like Luke Garrett and Leon Brown.
With over 150 appearances under his belt, Hugh Gustafson has been with the Dragons since the 2007-08 season. Originally from Carmarthen Gustafson began his Dragons career as he made his first appearance against Scarlets after captaining the Wales U20s in the 2007 Six Nations. The West Wailian was an immediate success at Rodney Parade possessing strength in the tight and mobility in the loose, notching up 21 appearances for the Region in his first season. During his time with the Region, Gustafson also coached the Dragons U16s side.
Alongside Jeffries, Stankovich and Gustafson, Scott will also be departing from the Dragons. Nick Scott joined the Region last season, from London Welsh and made his debut for the Men of Gwent against Connacht in 2015.
In addition to these four players Welsh International Taulupe Faletau will leave to join Aviva Premiership side Bath Rugby. Faletau has made over 100 appearances for the Men of Gwent and has been with the Region since 2009-2010. During his time with the Dragons the 25-year-old earned his Wales U20 International cap, as well as making his first appearance for Wales during the 2011 Barbarians Tour of England & Wales. In 2013 the world class number 8 was called up into the British and Irish Lions for their tour of Australia.
