The Family Zone will be open for the first time at Sunday’s PRO12 match between the Newport Gwent Dragons and Munster. The facility will be open for all Newport Gwent Dragons PRO12 and European Rugby Challenge Cup matches as well as fixtures for Newport RFC and Newport County.

Newport Gwent Dragons CEO Stuart Davies said "Rodney Parade takes great pride in delivering an authentic rugby match-day experience. We Fight Any Claim's sponsorship of our new Family Zone has allowed us to bring back this popular facility as the focus of our community and supporter activity. The Family Zone will adapt to the needs of our supporters ranging from those enjoying a beer with friends to those with families".

Commenting on the new sponsorship deal Stuart continued “I’d like to thank WFAC for their considerable backing and continued support, and in turn I hope that Dragons supporters turn out their numbers to enjoy this wonderful new offering.”

We Fight Any Claim, also known as WFAC, are a company based at Llantarnam Business Park in Cwmbran. Simon Chorlton, Managing Director of We Fight Any Claim said “Our company is all about our employees, the local community and supporting local ventures – so for us it was a no brainer to commit to bringing back to Rodney Parade the ever popular family village, as the We Fight Any Claim Family Zone”.

“We want a resource that the community can use and enjoy, and that shows our commitment to the community that our staff live and work in. We are making this commitment to Rodney Parade and the Dragons, and Newport County AFC and of course Newport RFC to reinvigorate the family experience for supporters old and new.”

The We Fight Any Claim Family Zone will feature a host of activity and entertainment in the build up to, and after every Newport Gwent Dragons home match. This includes live music and entertainment, appearances from the Newport Gwent Dragons players and children’s activities and giveaways.

The WFAC Family Zone is also a fully equipped with a bar and catering facilities and is also available for non-matchday private bookings. Rodney Parade Conferencing and Events Manager Kelly Reardon-Brown said “There aren't many facilities that can sit over 400 in the region so I think it will open up new markets for us to explore. We have already taken bookings for Christmas parties and large events into next year.”

The We Fight Any Claim Family Zone will be open from 12:30pm on Sunday and will be open post match so why not pop in to have a look.
