As the school year comes to its end the Second Half programme concluded its academic year with a bang.
Visits from Glan Usk, Pillgwenlly, Glasllwch , High Cross and Millbrook meant a busy time for the community team. Mike Sage put the children through their paces during the exercises and running skills whilst Phil James grumbled his way through the day much to the delight of the kids.
Each class that visited had a great time and whilst there was a definite end of season feel about the place the kids could not be faulted for their endeavour and enthusiasm.
The pupils really had a memorable day and the good news is that we can all do it all over again starting with the new term in September. Although the enthusiasm for the loaf of Gibbons bread that all the pupils had seemed to be the highlight of their day!!
