Greetings all,
It's great to come back to Rodney Parade with out first win under our belt. I'm hoping that now that we have our first victory the lads will grow another arm and leg and back it up with another win.
Morale is high in the camp and I can assure you that there's plenty of hard work going in to obtain our next scalp and to compliment the banter floating around.
On that note, please observe the lovely new cut and colour that Ashley Smith had late last week. He wanted me to add that he's rapt with how well it turned out and the job that his stylist has done.
The last 4 games have been very challenging from a team logistics perspective, with a lot of quick turnarounds and little rest for some of the players. I must admit that this week it has been nice to get back to a weekly routine with a little longer to recover and prepare.
Last week’s game saw our team display a much better all round skill level, considerably less penalties conceded and much better awareness on how to close the game out.
We'll have to demonstrate all of these plus bring a bit extra right across the park to overcome a very competent Edinburgh side fresh on the bounce from a quality win. I firmly believe that the team is continually growing and there is still plenty to come from the Dragons.
