Full back Will Talbot-Davies and back row Taine Basham are handed starting spots as Dragons XV tackle Ulster A in the Celtic Cup at Ystrad Mynach on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
Talbot-Davies, who scored a try in the pre-season fixture with Scarlets last weekend, is one of six changes made to the starting line-up as Dragons XV look to return to winning ways after two narrow defeats.
Back row Basham is also recalled after a bench appearance in the Worthington's Challenge Trophy last Saturday on home soil.
Wales Under-20s centre Aneurin Owen returns to the back line to partner Connor Edwards, who has scored four tries in three Celtic Cup appearances this season.
Scrum half Dafydd Buckland also gets the nod at half back where he will join forces with fly half Arwel Robson who continues his playing comeback from long-term injury.
A new-look front row will see prop Jack Cosgrove and hooker Ellis Shipp pack down with Chris Coleman.
Lock Ben Carter and back row Garin Price are called onto the bench.
Captain Ben Roach said: “We’ve enjoyed good spells in all our Celtic Cup games this season and shown a positive intent to play a fast and attacking game.
“All the games in this competition tend to be tight affairs and, unfortunately, we know we’ve fallen the wrong side in the last few games.
“However, the attitude in the group has been fantastic and, with three games left in the competition, we’re determined to keep progressing, moving forward and enjoy a positive end to the competition.”
Adult entry for the Celtic Cup fixture at Ystrad Mynach on Saturday is £5 and Under-16s are FREE
