Warren Signs New Two-Year Deal

28/03/2019

Adam Warren has become the third Dragons player to commit his future to the region after agreeing a new contract which will keep him at the region until at least 2021.

Warren has joined Lewis Evans and Matthew Screech in signing a new Dragons deal to stay at Rodney Parade.

The 28-year-old from Burry Port moved east in 2015, starting all 30 games in his first campaign at the region and is now fast approaching a century of games for Dragons as the continues to be a first team regular playing in both midfield positions or on the wing.

Warren won a Test cap against the Barbarians at the Principality Stadium in June 2012 and has played for Wales Sevens and Wales under 20s side.

“Adam has become a firm fan’s favourite during his time at the Dragons, due to his consistently strong performances every time he wears the jersey, so this is excellent news for us,” said head coach Ceri Jones.

“He is a very versatile player, gives everything in training and on match days, so is a valuable member of our squad.

Adam added, “I’m really pleased to get the new contract signed. I’m still enjoying my rugby for the Dragons and challenging myself to keep developing and improving.

“We have a young squad with plenty of ambition to help the region achieve success.”
