The semi-finals for the Dragons Cup - sponsored by Monmouthshire Building Society - have been confirmed.
The regional cup and plate competitions enable youngsters from under-12s to youth level, to compete against each other in hotly contested match ups and this year’s semi-finals are no exception.
Abergavenny and Chepstow are both at home in the Plate semi-final as they host Penallta and Hartridge respectively.
Chepstow will also have home advantage in the under 13s Cup competition as they take on Ebbw Vale with a final against either Rhymney or Pontypool Utd awaiting the winner.
The Under 13s Plate semis will see Machen versus Risca and Caerleon versus Caerphilly, whilst Caerphilly under 12s will also be on their travels to play Abercan in their Plate competition and Abertillery face Nelson in the other semi-final.
Completing the draw, in the Under 12s Cup it’s Whiteheads versus Ebbw Vale and Cwmbran against Pontypool Utd.
Dragons back row Harri Keddie and first team coach Alan Kingsley joined Dawn Gunter, Monmouthshire Building Society Chief Operating Officer to complete the semi-final draw for the under 12s, 13s and 14s competitions at their John Frost Square headquarters in Newport.
