Hill strikes as Wales stun England

24/02/2019

Dragons captain Cory Hill scored a crucial second half try as Wales' record-breakers seized control of the Guinness Six Nations with a brutal and monumental triumph over England.

Warren Gatland's men smashed the 109-year record of 11 consecutive wins to move to the summit of the 2019 Championship table after a gruelling encounter with Eddie Jones' men.

Tom Curry's first-half score had Wales chasing the game, but Hill's decisive try turned the tables to keep Welsh hopes of a Grand Slam well and truly alive.

Then in the closing moments, Josh Adams ascended into the Cardiff skies to claim a Dan Biggar cross-kick before scrambling over the line to secure a stunning victory.

Dragons duo Hill and Ross Moriarty both started the game while Elliot Dee and Aaron Wainwright were second half replacements.
