Six Dragons players were named in the 42-man Wales squad ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup – into which Cymru bring momentum following their 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam win.
Each Dragons representative will take international experience into the camp as they aim to claim a spot in the final squad, so who are they?
Cory Hill
Born in Pontypridd, Cory Hill has been involved in the Wales senior squad since making his debut in November 2016 against Australia at the Principality Stadium.
Now 27-years old, he was named vice-captain of the Welsh squad for the 2017 summer tour to Tonga and Samoa.
The lock most recently appeared for Cymru in the 21-13 win over England and scored a try at the Principality Stadium during the 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam winning campaign.
Ross Moriarty
Having played for England at Under-18 and Under-20 level, Ross Moriarty made his Wales international debut by starting against Ireland in August 2015.
The back row originally missed out on selection for Warren Gatland’s 2015 Rugby World Cup squad, but was brought in after Eli Walker’s hamstring injury forced him out of the tournament.
Now 25-years old, he also last appeared against Ireland as Cymru secured the 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam in March.
Elliot Dee
The hooker featured for Wales at Under-18 and Under-20 level, prior to winning a senior call-up and making his Wales debut against Georgia at the Principality Stadium in November 2017.
Elliot Dee also last featured in the 25-7 win over Ireland, coming off the bench to help his nation to a third Grand Slam in 11 years.
Aaron Wainwright
Aaron Wainwright, who is still only 21-years old was first capped by Wales in June 2018 as they defeated Argentina 23-10 in San Juan during a two-Test series.
The back row last featured from the bench in that 25-7 victory over Ireland at the Principality Stadium that sealed the 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam in March.
Hallam Amos
The 24-year-old made his Wales debut in November 2013 against Tonga at the Principality Stadium and featured in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Hallam Amos last played for his nation in the 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam winning campaign, coming off the bench in the 26-15 victory over Italy at the Stadio Olimpico.
Leon Brown
Newport-born Leon Brown won Wales Under-20 honours, before making the step-up to the full senior side in the 2017 autumn international against Australia.
The 22-year-old prop last featured for Cymru in the 74-24 win over Tonga at the Principality Stadium in November 2018.
