Injury Update | Amos nears playing return

Dragons returned from Ulster on Saturday with one new injury concern, with Matthew Screech having picked up an ankle issue.

On the positive side, Harri Keddie played a full 80 minutes after what has been a long pre-season for him and combined with the return of Joe Davies, player availability for selection is now up to 81% - above the target set by the medical department at Dragons for this point in the season.

Injury updates – Being Assessed/ Available for selection

Hallam Amos – expected to return this week, six weeks after dislocating his elbow. Hallam spent last week in rehabilitation with the national team at the Vale and  joins up with the Dragons squad to complete his return to play this week.

Matthew Screech (ankle) – Unfortunately, Matthew picked up an ankle sprain in the defeat to Ulster Rugby. He will be assessed at the start of this week before any timeline on his return is set.

Brandon Nansen (concussion) – Brandon is going through an intensive S&C and rehab programme, after a forced period of rest, with a view for a return later this month.

James Sheekey (wrist) – James has had successful surgery and is going through an intensive S&C and rehab programme with an anticipated return before the end of the international break.
