The Bears – coached by former Dragons coach Lyn Jones – make sweeping changes to the side that defeated Namibia 47-20 in Krasnodar last weekend.
The team at the Bridgefield will be captained from the front row by hooker Evgeny Matveev.
Russia scored seven tries last weekend against Namibia, with back row Anton Sychev among those alongside replacement centre Vladimir Ostroushko and full back Vasily Artemyev.
