Injury Update | Nansen & Sheekey near return

Injured Dragons players are continuing rehabilitation and recovery programmes this week ahead of forthcoming fixtures with Russia (November 16) and Edinburgh Rugby (November 25).

Availability is currently at 76.7% in the squad, just under the target set by the medical department for this point in the season.

Injury updates – Being Assessed/ Available for selection

Brandon Nansen (concussion) & James Sheekey (wrist) – Both forwards are working hard following enforced spells out and it is hoped both will return to training next week, with a view to selection against Edinburgh.

Injury update – not available for selection

Ryan Bevington (concussion) – Ryan sustained a concussion in the Hong Kong fixture and will now go through the required return to play protocols.

Jared Rosser (hamstring) – Jared suffered a hamstring injury in the European fixture with Northampton. However, it is hoped he will return to training later this month with a possible comeback against Leinster.

Zane Kirchner (knee) – Zane is currently being assessed for a right knee injury, with no timeline currently set for his return to action.
