Coach praise for 'dynamic' Keddie

Forwards Coach Ceri Jones praised the performance of Harri Keddie in the victory over Edinburgh as the back row made an impressive return to Rodney Parade.

Keddie, 22, made his first appearance of the season on home soil as Dragons earned a third win of the campaign in the Guinness PRO14.

And while back row team-mates Nic Cudd and man-of-the-match Ollie Griffiths earned praise, Jones was keen to stress the importance of Keddie’s display.

“I thought Harrison Keddie was very good,” said Jones. “He has been very unfortunate with the timings of the injuries he has had but he looked very good.

“He was part of that Welsh squad, going down training with Leon (Brown), but unfortunately he has had injuries. But he showed what a quality player he is.

“He is a good lineout forward, he took a lot of ball and he put pressure on them. He is dynamic and carried very well for us too.

“They are young and Welsh, like a lot of our squad, and they are putting in good performances,” added Jones. “I’m sure more Dragons will knock on the door for Wales soon.”

Dragons are back on home soil this Saturday as they face champions Leinster at Rodney Parade (kick-off 5.15pm). You can buy tickets NOW by clicking HERE
