Hill is set to return to the starting line-up as Dragons head into European action this Saturday afternoon against ASM Clermont Auvergne.
And he has called on his team-mates to produce a positive performance, after a difficult week following the departure of Bernard Jackman, against the European big-hitters.
“We’re not looking towards next week at the moment and any possible changes. We’ve got a big challenge coming up at Clermont and we are fully focussed on that,” said Hill.
“Ceri (Jones) has taken charge this week and we still have the same backroom staff. The players will come closer and we have now got to unite as a region, all of us, and look to put in a big performance in on Saturday.
“As a senior player group we sat down and really pushed it out to the boys that we have got to get tighter and really back the coaches.
“We stick to what we have been doing in training and look to put in a big performance, especially for the fans.
“Everybody has bought into it, we’ve had a really good training week and we are looking for that performance now in France.
“We’re professional rugby players and we are paid to go out at the weekend and put in a performance and get results,” he added.
“We are totally focussed on Saturday and whatever happens next week we will talk about that next week.
“It’s definitely not an easy task going to Clermont. They are a giant in Europe and we are all looking forward to it.
“It’s a great ground to go and play at, there is going to be a great atmosphere and the boys have got to stand up and relish that.
“You are always under pressure in Welsh rugby. But we are a tight group and we are working towards something special. It is a hard time for us but we have got to keep moving forward.”
