Rosser looks forward to Judgement Day challenge

Dragons youngster Jared Rosser is ready for Saturday’s contest against Scarlets as the Men of Gwent take on the West Walians in Judgement Day VI.

Katie Vizard | 25/04/2018

The 20-year-old had an impressive match against Zebre in the Guinness PRO14 two weeks ago after scoring a hat-trick in under 20 minutes in L’Aquila.

“I was happy with the performance during the first half but it would’ve been better if we had gotten the win, so when the fourth try was disallowed it was very disappointing for us as a team,” explained the winger.

Rosser has made 24 appearances for the Dragons to date, after making his debut off the bench against Leinster in the first game of the season. The wing, who also has international honours with Wales U20s and Wales 7s, can recall one previous occasion when he has stepped out onto the famous pitch at the Principality Stadium, and that was with Pontypool United.

“I played in one Youth Plate Final with Pontypool United at the stadium, I was on the bench, so I only had around 20 minutes but it was a win and it was a good day.

“I am treating Saturday’s match as a final too as it’s an important game that I want to play in, so I was very happy being told that I would be involved in Judgement Day - I am really looking forward to it… it’s going to be a good day!”

Tickets priced £10 for adults to see both games are available for both games, with collection available on the day at the Principality Stadium collection office: WRU Store, Westgate Street, Cardiff (Next to Gate 3 of the Stadium)
