The fly-half is looking forward to the Wales U20 first test against Australia and, alongside his teammates, is determined to get the World Rugby U20 Championship campaign off to a winning start.
“We’ve talked in the week that the first game is massive as it gives us the momentum to go onto a big game against England and we want to go into the last game knowing that it’s in our hands.
“We know that we cannot be caught cold, the first game is massive, and we want to be going into the last pool game knowing that it’s in our hands so that we know that we can’t be caught cold.”
He continued: “We are not really used to playing teams like Australia but we have done our analysis… and looked at what their strengths are through watching them play in the Oceania Cup and there are few points that we are looking to exploit.”
Wales U20's opening encounter will be broadcast live on S4C tonight, kicking off at 5.30pm BST. Jason Strange's men will then go on to face England on Sunday and Samoa a week Thursday.
