Dragons PS XV team to face Ealing Trailfinders

Newport Gwent Dragons have named a strong experienced side to take on Ealing Trailfinders as they return to the British and Irish Cup.

The Dragons PS travel to Ealing to take on the tricky English outfit that beat the Men of Gwent 28-27 in October at the home of Crosskeys, Pandy Park. But the Dragons PS last match in the pool stages was against Yorkshire Carnegie before the festive period, and they pipped the English side for the win thanks to a last minute converted try from Arwel Robson.

This weekend there are seven changes to the team that beat Yorkshire before Christmas. As Crosskeys wing Matthew Powell is included in the backs as well as Dragons scum-half Charlie Davies returns for his first game back since recovering from injury.

In the forwards Darran Harris is named in the front row as hooker, with Ashley Sweet returning from injury to start in the second row. The back row is all change as flankers James Thomas and Nathan Hudd are named alongside number 8 Andrew Waite.
