Dragons recruit Jarryd Sage has arrived in Cardiff today and is due to start training with his new teammates on Friday.
Sage is unavailable for selection for the back-to-back European Challenge Cup fixtures as he is not registered but may get a first run out in the British & Irish Cup next week.
Due to the injury crisis, the Dragons have used all their available picks for the European Challenge Cup registrations for the group stage fixtures.
However, Jackman was able to report some better news from those reporting injured at the team's Ystrad Mynach training base,
"Shoulder injury victims Harrison Keddie and Sam Beard are back in non contact training now so potentially they are next two players back, but I wouldnt expect them to be back sooner than a fortnight.
Ahead of Friday's clash with Enisei, the other news was mixed with Luke Garrett and Tom Davies both returning to the match day squad along with former Cardiff RFC player James Sheekey,
However, the Dragons will be without Brok Harris who adds to the injury situation as well as the continued absence of Tyler Morgan.
"Tyler Morgan is out until January after having an ankle operation and Brok Harris has picked up a shoulder injury which could be serious and is waiting on the verdict from a surgeon on whether he needs an operation."
