Keen rugby fan Ieuan has featured in both local and national media following the sudden death of his mother Bevlee in March at the age of 34.
Ieuan contacted Scottish singer Paulo Nutini to request that he played at his mother’s funeral, as well as raising over £3,500 for the service. Paulo was not able to make the service however he did organise and play a special concert in her memory at the Newport Centre with Ieuan joining him on stage.
Dragons CEO Stuart Davies said “Ieuan touched the hearts of people across our Region with his efforts following his tragic loss back earlier this year. We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to be our Matchday Guest and look forward to welcoming him to Rodney Parade on Friday”.
Ieuan will be taken on a tour of Rodney Parade ahead of the match and will be taken behind the scenes with the Dragons Team Manager. Ieuan will also be given the opportunity to meet players after the match.
Ieuan will be a regular at Rodney Parade for the new season with the Dragons also offering him with two Season Memberships.
