Ted Hopkins is an intriguing business that sees their machinery end up all over the globe and as a locally based business, I am delighted that Chris has agreed to extend their investment to become a kit sponsor at the Dragons.”
Head of Operations at Rodney Parade, Mark Jones, added:
“I would like to thank Chris, Evan and all at Ted Hopkins for the equipment and expertise that they have supplied to the Rodney Parade Ground Staff over the past few season. This has been vital for the upkeep of the pitch for the three teams who play here. James Stuart, our Head Groundsman and his team are looking forward to putting the new tractor through its paces.”
Evan Hopkins, Operations Manager at Ted Hopkins, said:
“We are pleased to be able to assist Mark and his colleagues at Rodney Parade with this new Kubota tractor which has been fitted with a front loader and bucket, also low ground pressure turf tyres, these additional features make the equipment more universal during winter maintenance of the pitch and up keep of the communal areas at Rodney Parade. As a local business, we feel it is important to support local teams and have built our relationship with Rodney Parade over a number of years through supplying Groundcare equipment and Utility vehicles. We are very proud to be sponsoring the Newport Gwent Dragons and are very happy that we can supply them with new machines from a major global player in the groundcare sector such as Kubota that have new and innovative designs on their machines.”
