He’s been all around Europe and has had to overcome a few tricky jams but has still helped drive the team to one of the most successful seasons in their history...
The Dragons van is still going strong and, with help from his partner in crime, Team Logistics Manager Jeremy Vizard, they can look forward to another great campaign next season.
With this season over he can now go home to David Spear Commercials, get some well-deserved TLC and put his tyres up for a few months. The Dragons know that come September and the start of the new season he will be “re-fuelled” and ready for the challenge ahead.
Jeremy Vizard or “Viz” as he is more commonly known is responsible for the provision and transportation of all team-related kit and equipment, accompanying the team across Europe as well as closer to home through the Dragons’ multi-based training schedule. Being with the Dragons since the inception of the region he knows the importance of having the right equipment for his job.
“We are extremely grateful to David Spear for their ongoing support.
“Without the fantastic vehicle they supply I wouldn’t be able to make the long away journeys in such a comfortable manner.
“Without David Spear Commercials support I wouldn’t be able to carry on with many of my duties."
Even the players recognise the importance of having the right equipment behind the scenes, Taulupe Faletau added: “We can always rely on Viz and the van to be at the ground before us even if it means him taking on a 19-hour trip to Treviso. Without the van I am not sure what Viz would do!”
