As Newport Gwent Dragons prepare to face Newcastle Falcons in this Saturday’s European Rugby Challenge Cup crucial pool three game, Gilbert Rugby, official kitwear supplier for both teams, is inviting fans to play their part in a match being called the Gilbert Derby.
Three fans from each team will be invited onto the Kingston Park 3G pitch at half time during Saturday’s game to take part in the Gilbert Derby Day Competition. The side that wins the relay race and kicking competition will not only defend the honour of their rugby team but will also win an exclusive goodie bag from Gilbert Rugby!
For your opportunity to take part in the competition, tweet a photograph of your match ticket for Saturday’s game to the @DragonsRugby Twitter account or share a photo of your ticket on the Falcons’ official Facebook page, using #GilbertDerby.
Enter before 5pm on Thursday for your chance to take part and our three lucky winners will be chosen at random on Friday and contacted to confirm arrangements.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 3.15pm at the Falcons’ Kingston Park stadium. Tickets for the game are still available, starting from just £15 for adults and £7.50 for juniors, and can be bought online, from the club’s East Stand Ticket Office or by calling the Falcons’ 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060.
