Evans undergoes surgery

Newport Gwent Dragons flanker Lewis Evans has undergone wrist surgery today.

Newport born Evans has had an on going issue with his wrist and recent examinations and scans confirmed the 27-year-old required immediate surgery. Dragons medical staff confirmed that the rehabilitation process will take several months.

Centre Ross Wardle also under went surgery, three weeks ago on his shoulder, which he injured during the game against Zebre. Wardle is progressing well through the early stages of his rehabilitation.
