After three successful pre-season games during the Summer, including Friday’s performance over Aviva Premiership Champions Northampton Saints, as well as new 6 year Rugby Services Agreement (RSA) between the four Welsh Regions (Cardiff Blues, Dragons, Ospreys & Scarlets) and the WRU. It appears that things are looking good for the start of the 2014/15 season for the Men of Gwent.
Newport Gwent Dragons are due to take on Connacht, away from home, in the first round of the Guinness PRO12 on Saturday 6th September, KO 17:00. They will then travel back to Newport to play the Ospreys in the first Welsh derby of the season on Friday 12th September, KO 19:30. The Men of Gwent will have another two games to play at Rodney Parade after their derby, one game against Glasgow Warriors (Sat 20th Sept, KO 14:40) and the next against Benetton Treviso (Sun 28th September, KO 16:00).
