Although the effort and skill that was shown by the lads and lasses who attended the skills camps during the Easter break was similar to those displayed by the Duracell Bunny!!
“We have built up a loyal following over the years, our supporters know the high standards of the courses we provide and have faith in our ability to draw out the best from their kids.” said a proud Community Manager Mike Sage.
Janice Chappell is also very highly involved in producing the courses and she was pleased to point out that the numbers have increased on an annual basis.
We are having great time in finding new drills and skills for the kids to enjoy “said a beaming Janice. “And we will continue to do so just to make sure that our camps are the best around”.
The camps were visited by a number of Dragons players including Wales second row and Dragons skipper Andrew Coombs and British & Irish Lion Taulupe Faletau with Dragons stars Sam Parry, Nic Cudd, Hugh Gustafson and Lewis Evans being among the players who made the end of course presentations.
However, the Community Staff don’t have much time to rest on their laurels as they prepare to do it all over again for the three day Summer Camps in August. Make sure that you keep your eyes peeled for these, dates will be revealed over the coming weeks.
