Young guns Ieuan Jones and Steffan Jones are included in this week’s squad as the regional side faces Bayonne in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

The regional side faces Bayonne in the Amlin Challenge Cup and are looking forward to returning to the competition where qualification is still possible providing they win. The game is live on Sky Sports and S4C on Thursday 10th January; kick off at 19:45 GMT.

The Jones’ are included alongside Mike Poole, Nathan Williams and Tim Ryan who have been recalled to the squad to travel to Bayonne. They will look to replace back row Tom Brown and winger Tonderai Chavhanga who were injured during the match against Connacht.

The regional side are looking for a repeat performance, away from home, after their valiant effort when they last played them at Rodney Parade. In previous meeting the Welsh side have picked up two victories to Bayonne’s one, as they have met only three times in this competition.
