The master class is part of RaboDirect PRO12’s annual competition which sees boys and girls from across the four nations have the opportunity to meet their favourite players at their club by entering a competition.
The lucky winner is invited to his or her club in Wales, Ireland, Scotland or Italy. Dragons’ lucky winners were young Harry Cullen and Kieron Davies who brought along their friends.
The boys were presented with goody bags provided by RaboDirectPRO12, including a RaboDirect backpack, RaboDirect replica balls, a RaboDirect custom MasterClass t-shirt, as well as autograph books, flags and Rodney the Dragon key rings from the club and all were delighted to have the opportunity to hold the RaboDirect PRO12 trophy!
Upon arrival, the boys were introduced to Will Harries, along with skipper Lewis Evans and hooker Steve Jones. Will then led the boys and their parents on a tour of Rodney Parade which gave the boys an 'inside view' of life as a professional rugby player.
They were then joined by Hywel Stoddart and Dan Watchurst who all took part in a lively training session alongside the Dragons squad as they trained at Rodney Parade.
After a nutritionally sound breakfast and a small talk on how to keep healthy the boys were able to get the rest of their autographs and photos alongside the rest of the Dragons players!
