DRAGONS RE-LAUNCH SCOUTS INTO THE REGION
After a successful first season, the WRU and Dragons have reappointed four scouts to work across the region. Their major remit will be to identify players currently outside of our system aged 16 to 20 using the WRU/Dragons recruitment strategy.
The Scouts are as follows:
- Steve Jones
- Joe Crocker
- Richard Brown
- Gareth Donovan
James Chapron, WRU Performance Manager, commented, ‘these scouts will act as a vital part of our system in identifying late developers, newcomers or players who may have missed out on previous selections. It is important that our system remains open as long as possible to ensure we maximize the talent that is undoubtedly present within the region, and the introduction of scouts will enhance this process.’
