The WRU and Dragons will host a Coaching Association evening at Blackwood RFC on Wednesday 16th November, starting at 7pm.
The evening will introduce the concept of the Coaching Academy within the region and look to generate discussion about what makes a good coach, what techniques and skills does a good coach utilise as well as various different approaches to creating a coaching environment.
We will also discussed what is required by the coaches within rugby clubs across the region to allow them to become better coaches. We will also consider how a coach can move from club rugby into the performance end of the game and what it means to be a performance coach.
The event will be interactive and will look to address real world topics facing coaches across the region, developing a programme of development opportunities over the coming months.
The evening is open to all coaches of all abilities and is free to enter.
