LittleStars Rugby is a weekly, Welsh based activity programme for children between the ages of 2-7, using the skills found in Rugby Union and League to create a fun and stimulating environment where children can develop their key skills.
Newport Gwent Dragons have teamed up with LittleStars to grow the participation in sporting activities for both children and adults while ensuring that those children who progress into mini and junior rugby make a smooth transition to this level. As a result of this partnership, LittleStars Rugby will be offering their members many exciting community based activities throughout the coming season.
LittleStars Rugby sessions have been specifically designed to develop co-ordination, balance, physical and social skills, while always promoting the ethos of teamwork and fair play.
The sessions are divided into 3 age groups 2-3, 4-5 and 6-7 year olds, and are differentiated to ensure that children of all ages and abilities are able to reach their potential and develop their skills.
All LittleStars Rugby sessions are led by qualified coaches and are all fully insured and CRB checked. Furthermore, all coaches are appraised on a regular basis to ensure that the highest standards are always met.
