Dragons Captain Tom Willis was handed a 2-week ban last night for stamping on an un-named Scarlets player during the LV= Cup match on February 6.
Willis appeared before a joint Rugby Football Union-Welsh Rugby Union panel of Rick Charles (chair), Mike Curling and Geraint Edwards (WRU) and was suspended until March 1. He can play again on March 2.
However, Willis suffered a broken thumb in the Dragons victory over Edinburgh last weekend and is expected to be out for 3 months, which could effectively end his season.
