DRAGONS UNDER 15's 38-0 GLOUCESTER UNDER 15's

Under the Dragons Under 15's banner a squad made up from the READY FOR AGE GRADE programme beat a very resilient Gloucester Under 15's last night at Cross Keys RFC.

Although The score was 38-0 to the Dragons it was a very competitive match and both sets of coaches stated that they had gained considerable insight into their players.

The game had been arranged to end a skills based programme run by the Dragons Academy and coached by Dragons players James Thomas, Aaron Coundley, James Leadbetter and Lewis Roblin.

After watching the game Will Thoams The WRU Dragons Region National Performance Programme Manager had this to say " I thoroughly enjoyed the game and it was good to see these boys putting into practice what they have been taught over the last month. This is one of the processes involved in selection for the regional age grade under 16's for next season and I certainly think that the boys who were on show tonight put hands up for selection."

The next game for the READY FOR AGE GRADE programme is against Pill Harriers Under 16's next Wednesday the 4th of May at Pill RFC kick off for this game is at 6.45 and players are reminded to turn up at 5.30.

Many thanks to Cross Keys RFC for hosting last night's fixture on what is a fantastic pitch.
