Just one Magners League game managed to beat the deep freeze this weekend - Edinburgh v Cardiff Blues went ahead as scheduled at Murrayfield thanks to under soil heating and a lot of hard work from all involved. The 21-12 victory for the home side elevated them to 3rd spot in the league and saw them return to the Play-Off Zone at the expense of Munster.
The defeat sees Cardiff Blues remain in 8th position in the table, just two points clear of the 4th placed Welsh team, and four points behind the Dragons who have a game in hand with only seven games remaining to secure Heineken Cup qualification for next season and make a late bid for the Play-Off Zone.
The Dragons will release details of the re-scheduled match against Connacht as soon as they are available.
