Two of the Newport Gwent Dragons most promising young players swapped one type of dodging for another earlier this week when they bought cars from Motorpoint, South Wales’ leading car supermarket.
That’s because Lewis Evans and Hugh Gustafson, who both rounded off the Magners League with a victory against Leinster, are now the proud owners of a Dodge Avenger and a Dodge Caliber respectively.
The two, who missed out on Wales’ tour of the USA to play for the Dragons in Italy in the Heineken Cup play-off match against Calvasino, saved almost £20,000 between them by deciding to buy from Motorpoint rather than their local Dodge dealer.
“We’re delighted that the players choose Motorpoint ahead of their Dodge dealer," said Russell Louth, General Manager of Motorpoint Newport. "The cars look great and I am sure they will be the talk of the changing room. We now look forward to welcoming more of their team mates over the coming weeks and months to our site on the Queensway Meadow Industrial Estate in Newport and hope to be able to save them as much, if not more, on their next vehicle.”
