Newport Gwent Dragons fans will get their first chance to see Paul Turner’s summer signings as they embark on a tough friendly mission against Worcester Warriors on Friday evening (7.30pm).
The Dragons have named six of their new stars as they kick start their pre-season preparation before tackling Ulster in the opening home match of the Magners League.
Turner has named a strong pack that includes six internationals in an effort to dominate Worcester upfront as they hope to gel before the season starts. The backs hold plenty of flair with the right mix of youth and experience as the attempt to find consistency and flow.
Dragons have spent time bonding as a team over the past month and Tom Willis will lead his men at Rodney Parade hoping it culminates in a positive performance. Head Coach, Turner realises the side maybe undercooked, but still targets a good result.
“I don’t enter any game without pushing for a win, crucially I am looking for a positive performance and hope we can impress the fans,” added Turner.
