Gwent honoured at Principality Premiership Awards
Congratulations to the Bedwas and Wales U20 fullback Jason Tovey in receiving the ‘Best Newcomer Award’ at this week’s Principality Premiership Awards ceremony, following in the footsteps of previous winners Alun Wyn Jones and Tom James.
Also representing a huge commitment to rugby in the region was Mike Dams of Newport who won the ‘Services to Rugby Award’, chosen by Principality Building Society for an unsung volunteer of the Premiership, and Ebbw Vale RFC who are recipients of the referees’ Fair Play Award for the second year running.
