A short time after last season’s skipper Colin Charvis put pen to paper as contact and defence skills coach for the Newport Gwent Dragons, Wales’ most-capped forward was out and about supporting rugby in the region at Senghenydd RFC.
At the rugby club’s summer carnival, Colin was asked to judge the Scarecrow Competition and was pleased to congratulate the winner 8 year old Amelia Price from Nant –Y-Parc School, Senghenydd. After the event, Colin said:
“It was a fun day out for everyone at Senghenydd RFC and I was pleased to represent the Dragons in the Caerphilly area and meet the fans that support the Dragons each week.”
“The Scarecrow Competition was fun and the winner was great. Although I did wonder if I was asked to judge because there was a resemblance!"
