Saracens travel Newport tonight to face the Dragons at Rodney Parade for their final pre-season friendly before the 2008/09 season gets underway.
Director of Rugby Eddie Jones has named his team for the game, kick off 7.30pm, and new signings Steve Borthwick and Michael Owen are both in action. For Owen, it’s a return to the club where he spent five season before making the move to the North London club this summer while Saracens and England captain Borthwick partners Kris Chesney in the second row.
From tonight's starting XV, only Rodd Penney played in the 32-27 victory over Toulon on Wednesday and the wing joins Brent Russell and Richard Haughton to form the back three.
In midfield, Adam Powell takes the inside centre berth while Kameli Ratuvou is named at outside centre. The Fijian international has worn the No.13 shirt for his country and tonight he will get the chance for his club with Kevin Sorrell rested having captained the side in Toulon earlier in the week.
