With just over three weeks until arguably the most important game in The Dragons history over 3,000 tickets for their quarter-final European Challenge Cup clash against Brive have been sold.
Sales continue to be brisk for this game and Ticket Office Manager Jon Hall is expecting a sell out. He commented, "There is considerable interest in The Dragons quarter-final match and this is unprecedented this far in advance. Supporters have been very interested in this game especially as it is a 3pm kick off on a Saturday. I would urge supporters to book their tickets early, the Hazell Stand is almost sold out and we are expecting the next three weeks to be particularly busy."
French side Brive have previously won the Heineken Cup and are due at Rodney Parade on Saturday 31st March at 3pm and The Dragons would love to have a full Rodney Parade behind them for what is their biggest home game ever.
It is set to be an occasion not to be missed as The Dragons battle for a semi final place. They have never played Brive before but are confident having beaten French side Bayonne both home and away. The prize for the winners of this game is a semi final away game either to Clermont or Newcastle.
Tickets are available in person from the Rodney Parade ticket office or by calling 01633 674990 or on-line at www.newportgwentdragons.com
Dragons season ticket holders are reminded they have until the end of today (9th March) to secure their seats after this date they will go on general release and they have until 23rd March to secure their £2 discount on tickets.
