U20's Suffer Heavy Defeat

The Dragons U20's suffered another heavy defeat in the WRU Reebok Regional Championship, going down 54-7 to the Blues at Abercynon last night.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Rodney Parade, was reversed after Newport declared their home pitch unplayable due to heavy rain during the day.
However, it made little difference to the Blues who raced into a 42-0 half time lead before making wholesale changes.
Centre Tom Cooper got the scoreboard ticking with his side's first of eight tries and by half time they were comfortably ahead with James Egan, Luke Ford (2), Aaron Fowler and Patrick Palmer adding further tries.
Daniel Matthews and no.8 Mathew Larsen added tries after the interval and with Kristian Baller kicking seven conversions, the Blues were home and dry.
Dragons hooker Ben Roberts grabbed a consolation for the Dragons with David Langdon converting, but the visitors, who lost 35-5 to the Scarlets three weeks ago, were outplayed and outmuscled for much of the contest with the Blues showing why they have a 100 per cent record at this level this season.
